This is a longer hike then the kids usually do (2.5 miles round trip) but
Malibu Creek State Park is a wonderful area, well worth the drive. It is
VERY BUSY on weekends though, so try to go early (they open at sunrise) or
late (they close at sunset and it's usually empty well before that) or on a
weekday.
